ECOWAS health ministers gathered in Accra over the weekend, to deliberate on ways to combat diseases in the sub region. 

The meeting brought together sector ministers from 15 countries in the sub region and presented an opportunity for the ministers to review the health situation in the sub region and deliberate on the achievements and challenges in the implementation of health policies and programs.

As WADR’s Eric Mawena Egbeta reports, the conference also provided an opportunity for a reflection on the COVID-19 pandemic.
