Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, who doubles as the head of the West African economic bloc ECOWAS, arrived in Mali on Sunday for an official visit after the group lifted sanctions on the country following a military coup in August.
The regional body ended its sanctions after Mali agreed to a transitional government on October 5 in the wake of the military rebellion that ousted President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.
