The Vice President of the ECOWAS Commission Damtien L. Tchintchibidja says Togo and Benin have been selected for phase 2 of the ECOWAS Funds for Regional Stabilization and Development FRSD due to the spill over effects of violent terrorist attacks
The German Government has already committed over 90 million Euros for both phase 1 and 2 of the project in the various countries
She called for more funding to extend the regional stabilization fund project to other countries in the ECOWAS region
The ECOWAS Commission’s Vice President was speaking in the Gambian capital Banjul, during the closing ceremony of the ECOWAS FRSD Pilot Project in the Gambia
