The regional bloc, ECOWAS approved the deployment of 15 long-term Election Observers to Liberia.
On Monday, the team announced they will monitor key stages in the electoral process leading up to the country’s general elections on October 10.
Dr Omar Alieu Toray, President of The ECOWAS Commission said the deployment is consistent with the organization’s protocol on good governance.
