The Ghana Health Service says seventy-nine per cent of all the new COVID-19 cases fuelling Ghana’s third wave are of the Delta variant.
During a news conference in Accra on Wednesday, the Director-General of the Health Service Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye also revealed that new regional hot spots have been identified due to non-compliance with preventive protocols.
