A media rights defender, The Committee to Protect Journalists CPJ is calling on Sierra Leonean authorities to investigate the recent attack on journalist Alie Melvin Tokowa.

CPJ also demands that the perpetrators be brought to book.

Tokowa, manager of a community radio FOP 89.7FM Moyamba, was attacked, choked, and beaten by a group of people in the southern district.
