Millions in Senegal are preparing to mark the Muslim celebration of Eid al-Adha, raising concerns for rising COVID-19 cases.
Many in the West African nation have relaxed compliance with COVID-19 protocols after earlier surges were not as severe as those in other countries.
Health officials have however warned that the cases are already on the rise and fear that the celebration and relaxed attitude of citizens will only worsen the situation.
