In Togo, some ten months since launching the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, the National Coordination for the Management of the Response to COVID-19 says over 2.2 million vaccines have been administered to the Togolese population.
The country which according to its authorities recently crossed the million mark, administered precisely one dose of vaccine to 1,000,356 people or 33.5% of the population and two doses to 864,000 people, or 21% of the country's inhabitants.
So far, the country has received more than 3.5 million doses of vaccines from its various partners.
