The government of Senegal has re-imposed a night time curfew on the capital city Dakar and a nearby region amid a resurging Covid19 pandemic.
The curfew has been timed between 9pm and 6am daily.
The enforcement of the restriction will commence on Wednesday, 6 January.
For the past week, the country had recorded over 100 cases daily, triggering the lasted measure.
To date, the country's case count stands at 19,803 infections, 17,615 recoveries and 424 deaths.
