Women fish vendors in the Gambian have lamented the impacts of Covid-19 in their business amid a hike in fish prices.

According to the traders, the Covid-19 safety protocols most notably the curfew has greatly impacted their livelihoods.

They have therefore called on the government to provide recovery funds to sustain their businesses
