The Ivorian government has launched the 2023-2024 cocoa marketing season with a 50 percent increment in the field price.

From 1000 cfa Francs for the main season last October, Abidjan says the produce will sell for 1500 cfa Francs per kilogram this season.

This is the first time in Côte d’Ivoire that the guaranteed minimum price for the intermediate season has exceeded that for the main season.
