Côte d’Ivoire to invest over 800bn FCFA in education sector

The Ivorian government has announced the allocation of over 800 billion CFA to enhance the quality of education and establish a social agreement in the education-training sector.

The implementation of the State’s General of National Education and Literacy (EGENA) was adopted on Wednesday, following its launch in July 2021.

Through a participatory process, the national educational community and social and technical actors conducted a diagnostic assessment of the country’s education system.
