An Ivorian court on Monday confirmed the convictions of several relatives of former Prime Minister Guillaume Soro for attempts to undermine state security.

Soro himself was not left out of the appeal trial that lasted nearly two weeks in the commercial hub – Abidjan.

The former president of the national assembly, Soro was also sentenced to life imprisonment.
