The government of Cote d’Ivoire has announced the reduction of health checks at the Félix Houphouët Boigny International Airport in Abidjan. A statement issued on Monday noted that for arriving passengers who present proof of full vaccination, a PCR test will no longer be required as a travel health document. For unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated travelers, proof of a negative PCR test is required as a travel health document.
For departing passengers, travelers presenting proof of complete vaccination are exempt from the PCR test for a country that does not require it as an entry health document. For travelers not or incompletely vaccinated, proof of a negative PCR test is required as a travel health document. The validity of PCR test results has also bee extended from 48 hours to 72 hours.
