Authorities in Cameroon have expressed concern about the impact of the fighting between separatists and the national army on the rebuilding of the affected regions

For nearly three years, the reconstruction of basic infrastructures such as schools, health facilities, and homes has been hindered due to frequent conflicts.

Out of the thousands of homes and hundreds of public buildings damaged in the seven-year separatist conflict, less than 100 have been rebuilt.
