The Ghana revenue authority, the agency responsible for the collection of taxes and the controversial electronic transactions levy is to refund wrongful deductions in the ongoing implementation of the new tax law. 

The Ghanaian government began implementing the e-levy on May 1 but citizens have suffered wrongful deductions as a result of implementation challenges.
