The Confederation of African Football CAF has extended a ban on the Gambia’s national stadium from hosting international matches.
This comes after the CAF inspection team found the rehabilitation of the stadium not good enough to host standard football matches
Gambians have expressed disappointment while blaming the authorities for the poor infrastructure.
This also means the Gambia will not play their final home match against Congo in the African Cup of Nations final and decisive qualifier match in September.
