The Chadian Transitional Council, CNT, has begun studying a bill adopted by the country’s constitutional council on Thursday for the establishment of the National Agency for the Management of Elections.

If passed into law, the body will be responsible for organizing elections in the Central African Nation.

However, the bill has not been well received by the opposition, which fears a lack of independence.
