A Chadian rebel group has threatened to stand up to the country’s military-led government.

The rebel organization known as the Popular Front for Recovery vowed to use all necessary means to restore democracy in the North-Central African nation and called on all patriotic forces to a national uprising.

The announcement was made days after the Front for Change and Concord in Chad (FACT) announced an end to a ceasefire declared in 2021.
