The government of Cape Verde says at least 30 Cape Verdean students held in China and Macau due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be repatriated in early September.                            The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Communities, Luís Filipe Tavares told a press conference in the capital, Praia that  eight university student graduates are currently stranded in Macau with difficulties in returning to Cape Verde. He added that there are 22 students more in Mainland China, who have also finished their courses and are living with difficulties, awaiting repatriation.
