In Burkina Faso, dozens of demonstrators marched through the capital, Ouagadougou on Saturday to demand the release of Lieutenant Colonel Emmanuel Zoungrana. 

Colonel Zoungrana of the Burkinabe army was arrested in January 2022 for an attempted coup d'état. 

He has since been detained at the military prison.

But for the demonstrators, his place is not in the prison but at the battlefront to help in the fight against terrorism.
