The military ruler in Mali Colonel Assimi Goïta on Wednesday called on the citizens not to succumb to the demons of division.
Goita stated this in a national broadcast to mark the country’s 62nd independence anniversary celebrated every 22nd of September.
Colonel Goïta hailed the people of Mali for their resilience in the face of the sanctions imposed on Mali by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
