The World Health Organization has once again warned of a catastrophic increase in covid19 cases among vulnerable populations in lower- and middle-income countries, as the Easter period approaches.

In a question-and-answer session, WHO Director of Health Emergencies Programme, Dr. Mike Ryan, said failure to protect vulnerable people in poor countries through vaccination may cause an explosion of cases.
