There are growing concerns in Guinea over the postponement of a meeting between the ECOWAS mediator Boni Yayi and political leaders in Conakry.
The former Beninese President arrived in the country on Sunday during the Guinean transitional crisis.
But for four days now, this crucial meeting with the political class is yet to hold after Tuesday’s appointment was postponed at the last moment.
Political parties opposed to the transitional authorities are accusing the ruling military of preventing several scheduled meetings with the mediator.
The government, however, cites organizational reasons.
