The third annual conference on public health in Africa gets underway in Lusaka, Zambia’s capital.
This major event that opened on Monday will once again provide a forum for reflection and exchange between public health experts, regional authorities and all organisations involved in African and global health.
Nine topics drawn from the central theme will be debated in plenary sessions over 4 days.
The event is organised by the African Union and its public health agency, the African Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC).
