In response to the rising spate of violence against women in Ghana, a campaign for action has been launched.
Spearheading the call to action is the Network for Women’s Rights NETRIGHT.
According to the organization, abusive partners have killed more than 25 women between January and August 2021.
Last month, a female police constable became the latest victim when she was found dead in her room with wounds believed to be knife stabs from her lover.
The head of NETRIGHT, Patricia Blankson Akakpo speaks to WADR about the situation.
