In Togo, the Senate has resumed its second ordinary session of 2025 at the Palais des Congrès in Lomé, marking the end of a long parliamentary recess.
This session is dedicated to reviewing and debating the draft budget law for the 2026 fiscal year—a key framework that will shape the country’s economic and social policies in the year ahead.
Lawmakers are expected to scrutinize spending priorities, revenue projections, and fiscal strategies aimed at driving growth, improving governance, and strengthening public service delivery.
