Sierra Leone's Drivers’ and Vehicles licenses office, Roads Safety Authority – has released its 2020 Road Statistics report.
The report released Wednesday said a total of 867 Sierra Leoneans died from road accidents: of which 501 are males, 334 females and 32 children.
The total number of road accident injuries amount to 1,604with over 800 sustaining minor injuries and 770 others, critically wounded.
Ambrose Tucker – Research Manager at the Sierra Leone Roads Safety Authority who has been speaking to WADR’s Patrick Sallia in Freetown, gave more analysis.
