No fewer than 650,000 Nigerians have been displaced by flooding in four years across Nigeria, according to Gerida Birukila, the UNICEF chief of field office in Kaduna State.
The displacement according to the UN agency occurred between 2016 and 2021.
Birukila said this on the occasion of the commemoration of World Children’s Day on Monday themed Impact of Climate Change on Children.
