A five-day capacity-building workshop aimed at nurturing the next generation of feminist leaders in West Africa has concluded in Abuja.
Organized by the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) in partnership with BAOBAB for Women’s Human Rights, the event brought together young women from Ghana, Togo, Côte d’Ivoire, and Nigeria.
With support from the Ford Foundation and the Open Society Foundation, the workshop provided mentorship, leadership training, and advocacy skills, focusing on tackling patriarchy, systems of oppression, and sustainable activism.
