WTO DG calls for African private sector investment in Covid-19 vaccine

The Director General of World Trade Organization, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, has called on African leaders to encourage private sector investment in Covid-19 vaccine and other pharmaceuticals production to reduce over reliance on foreign assistance. 

She was speaking to newsmen after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria in New York on the sidelines of the ongoing 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
