The World Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to support the strengthening of the resilience of the nations of the South.

President of the World Bank Group Ajay Banga made the declaration in Marrakech, Morroco where financial experts are meeting. 

The Bretton Woods institution aims to optimise the resources available to fight poverty, recognising the interconnectedness of global challenges such as poverty, pandemics, climate change, debt, conflict, food insecurity and fragility.
