Today, the 7th of April 2022, is World Health Day; a day set by the United Nations to draw attention to specific health topics of concern to people all over the world.
This year the theme is Our Planet, Our Health; focusing on global attention and urgent actions needed to keep people and the environment healthy.
To further understand the significance of the day and the continent’s health struggles, especially with the existence of covid, WADR spoke to Dr. Humphrey Karamagi, senior medical officer at the World Health Organization for health systems and service development.
