The World Health Organisation (WHO) says Africa has seen an encouraging decline in cases and deaths since the peak in mid-January.

Despite the decline in cases and deaths it said several countries in the continent continue to report sustained transmission and increases in some areas. 

It warned against complacency as it called on government to remain vigilant in the fight against the virus.
