The World Health Organization WHO, on Monday, began a 2-day executive board meeting session on the current global covid19 pandemic response to follow up on the WHA73.1 resolution approved by the Member States earlier in May.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss with the Member States and seek their guidance on, the developments around the efforts to implement the strategic preparedness and response plan.
Member states will as well consider actions taken to initiate the review by an independent panel.
WHO Boss – Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on the sideline of the event, announced that some people have been shortlisted to investigate the alleged sexual exploitation and abuse by some individuals claiming to be the staff of the agency in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
