Nigeria played host to an ECOWAS mini-conference  Tuesday of select regional leaders including Benin, Guinea Bissau, and Niger at the call of the bloc’s chairperson President Bola Tinubu in Abuja.

The purpose of this high-profile meeting was to discuss and deliberate upon the prevailing political and security situation in the West African sub-region.
