What is it about these diseases?

Sub-Saharan Africa bears a disproportionate amount of the world’s blindness and the proportion of blind people in this region is increasing at a faster rate than in other parts of the world.

The cure to Several diseases and ailments remains unknown in the subregion. Oftentimes, they are rarely spoken of Among them is Hemophilia.

Small cuts usually aren’t much of a problem. If you have a severe deficiency of the clotting factor protein, the greater health concern is deep bleeding inside your body, especially in your knees, ankles and elbows. That internal bleeding can damage your organs and tissues, and may be life-threatening.

Hemophilia is a genetic disorder and a rare blood disease in the male gender. Treatment includes regular replacement of the specific clotting factor that is reduced.
