Since the start of October, West Africa Democracy Radio joined the global effort to raise awareness of breast cancer and other cancers in women.
Our previous editions have looked at discussions on the different areas of the disease, including early identification signs and symptoms associated and the need for awareness and innovation which we started in the last edition.
In concluding our theme on Innovations and accelerating women’s health progress, our guest Professor Nelly Mugo, the principal senior clinical research officer, at Kenya Medical Research Institute, Kenya, speaks on the HPV vaccine to prevent cervical cancer in women. She will also talk about the importance of prioritizing women’s health.
On the other half of the program, we will be discussing Erectile Dysfunction (ED) or Impotence as it is popularly known in our society. Dr. Dennis Bortey, Medical director of Healthnet Medical Center in Accra Ghana, is our guest.
