This week, we zoom in on the just concluded presidential election in Senegal which was adjudged as free, fair and inclusive by the ECOWAS election observation mission, led by former Nigerian foreign affairs minister, Ibrahim Gambari.
We will also examine the process of the election, the challenges, the lessons learnt from the various reports and how Senegal has indeed kept to what is known as “ THE BEACON OF DEMOCRACY” despite the chaos and tumultuous period leading to the presidential election.
