The United States says it is evaluating the evolving situation in Niger.
The U.S. remarked barely 24 hours after France announced the immediate withdrawal of its ambassador, and diplomatic staff from Niamey as well as the gradual pull out of its troops.
Last month, America repositioned some of its soldiers and equipment from the Niamey base to Agadez where it has since commenced drone operations.
