Military authorities in Niger under the aegis of the National Council for the Safeguarding of the People (CNSP) welcomed an American Delegation on Wednesday.
The purpose of the US delegation’s arrival in Niamey is to discuss a safe and coordinated withdrawal of the 1000 American troops stationed in Niger.
Leading the team is Christopher Maier, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict at the United States Department of Defense.
