The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees says the humanitarian need in the Menaka region of Mali remains quite great.

This remark comes after a three-day joint mission with the Multi-dimensional integrated stabilization mission (MINUSMA) to the region.

The visit by the UN agencies including UNFPA allowed the delegation to meet with local authorities and also interact with Internally Displaced Persons at their camp.
