The Humanitarian Coordinator for the Central African Republic (CAR), Ms. Denise Brown, has strongly condemned the death of a patient attendant who was ambushed by armed men.
The incident occurred while the victim was transferring patients to a referral medical facility on June 24 in Batangafo in the northwest of the country.
According to Ms Brown, two other patients and an aid worker were injured in the attack and are receiving appropriate care.
