Liberians have expressed dismay over a South Korean court sentencing Wednesday of two Liberian diplomats to nine years in prison each on the charge of sexual assault.
The diplomats are Moses Owen Browne, Liberia’s Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization, and Daniel Tarr, Director of the Department of Marine Environmental Protection at the National Maritime Authority.
WADR’s Darlington Porkpa in Monrovia says the Liberian government is already consulting other legal options for the two representatives.
