Two lawmakers in Liberia are accusing each other of misusing funds allocated to a non-existent health center in the country.
According to reports, twenty-five thousand US dollars US$25,000 was earmarked in the 2023 National Budget for the construction of a health center in the Country.
However, both lawmakers have been trading claims and counter-claims over the proper allocation of these funds.
It turns out that similar amounts have been diverted to the health center since 2020, but the visibility of the facility remains unclear.
We turn to WADR’s Darlington Porkpa, who has a report.
