Hundreds of Tunisian demonstrators on Friday, took to Habib Bourguiba Avenue, the central artery in the capital city Tunis, to protest against the Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip and to show solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The Tunisian General Union of Students had earlier issued a press release on Thursday, urging widespread mobilization and support for the Palestinian cause across the entire Arab and Islamic world, aligning with the call of the resistance for a day of general mobilization.
