The Speaker of the Parliament of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Mohamed Sidie Tunis, has called on Attorney generals in member states to organize an urgent meeting to put an end to what he described as an ugly trend of some member states disrespecting the judgement of the ECOWAS Court of Justice with impunity.
Dr. Tunis speaking during a delocalized meeting of the parliament in Abidjan, the Ivorian capital on Tuesday, with the theme Ensuring efficient energy in West Africa also tasked state authorities to improve on their power situation and need.
