The trial is continuing in Monrovia of ex-Sierra Leonean rebel commander Gibril Massaquoi.
Mr. Massaquoi is accused of committing crimes against humanity in Liberia during the latter part of the country’s civil war in 2003.
He denies all charges.
But witnesses testifying before Finish prosecutors in this trial speak of Massaquoi’s complicity.
Prosecutors in Finland where Mr. Massaquoi has been living for over a decade, drew up charges against the ex-fighter and have extended hearings in the trial to Liberia and Sierra Leone.
On Tuesday, two corroborating testimonies against Mr. Massaquoi were heard in court.
Journalist Anthony Stevens in Monrovia attended the hearing, from where he joins us.
