In Togo, the population are crying out to the authorities to fix the deteriorating electricity crisis affecting the whole country.

The power cuts began early this year and have since remained a daily occurrence disrupting commercial activities and causing heavy losses.

The government has however blamed the situation on the shortage of natural gas supply.
