In Togo, mass vaccination exercise against COVID-19 will begin this morning after the campaign was officially launched on Wednesday.
156,000 doses of AstraZeneca Vaccine arrived in Togo on Sunday through the Covax facility, with frontline healthworkers and most vulnerable persons expected to be vaccinated first.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister, Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé became the first Togolese personality to be inoculated. Following her were other members of government.
